Director Sourcing
Kelly is Director of Sourcing at Blue Source. She is responsible for sourcing and developing carbon offset projects and managing Blue Source's landfill gas project portfolio. During her time with Blue Source she has developed carbon credits for more than ten methane destruction projects in the US voluntary markets, including several of the first CAR and VCS landfill gas projects in the US. She has also developed offsets and quantification protocols for various other project types in the Canadian voluntary and compliance markets. Prior to joining Blue Source, Kelly worked as an Environmental Geophysicist, which involved managing projects and field staff and conducting geophysical surveys and analysis for a variety of environmental issues. She received her graduate degree in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary, completed in Ecuador in collaboration with the Canadian International Development Agency and Latin American Energy Organization, and holds a B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of British Columbia.
