Jamie Callendar, B.A.Sc
Director of Technical Services
A graduate of Environmental-Chemical Engineering (Co-op) from the University of Waterloo, in Ontario, Canada, Jamie leads Blue Source's Technical Services Group. In this capacity he manages a wide variety of consulting projects for external clients as well as internal offset project development activities in Canada and the US. His responsibilities include business development, project management and technical analysis for greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction projects. His responsibilities span from initial project screening through documentation, quantification, validation/verification, and support for the marketing and sales of offsets in North American compliance and voluntary markets. Through his experience with protocol and project development activities at Blue Source and previously at CantorCO2e, Jamie has developed a diverse knowledge of GHG emission reduction technologies, including, anaerobic digestion, biofuels, biomass fuel switching, carbon capture and storage, wastewater treatment, waste heat recovery and fuel and vent gas energy efficiency projects in the oil and gas sector. In his spare time Jamie enjoys playing soccer and watching NHL hockey.
