Yvan Champagne
Vice President, Eastern Canada
Yvan brings great passion for and an understanding of environmental technologies and greenhouse gas reduction projects to Blue Source Canada. As the former founder and Managing Director of the Carbon Reduction Fund, Yvan is an experienced leader and entrepreneur in carbon markets. His broad experience includes GHG project screening, assessment and contracting, advising companies and organizations across Canada on sustainable environmental strategies and programs, government relations consulting in the energy sector, public affairs and marketing, and growing young companies.
Yvan obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Yale University with a focus on environmental policy and business-government relations. As part of his studies, he also completed graduate coursework in the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Yvan is also a graduate of the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA Program.
When he’s not in the office, Yvan enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the great Canadian outdoors, playing hockey and tennis and reading great works of fiction and non-fiction.
